What are the spacing of buildings
The spacing of buildings is determined by Decree No. 501/2006 Coll. on general land use requirements. Mutual spacing of structures must meet urban, architectural, hygienic, fire safety requirements. Furthermore, it has to meet a number of requirements for the protection of monuments, daylighting requirements, to maintain the comfort of living. If there is free space between each other, the distance must be at least 7 m. The distance of a garage, small buildings on the site such as pergolas or carports, from the boundaries of neighboring houses must not be less than 1.5 m. The distance of the outer edge of the roofs must not be more than 1m. On the territories where homes meet urban planning requirements, these small buildings can be on the border of the land.
