The chimney is a vertical stand-alone structure or part of a building whose task is to ensure that flue gases are extracted from the furnace. Normally there is an extended part of stoves or fireplaces on which the chimney is connected. The first chimneys were recorded in the fifteenth century and served to divert smoke from the house. Before the brick chimneys were built for fire protection, wood was used to produce them. In order for the chimney to function properly, it is necessary to have it inspected once a time by an expert, in this case a chimney.
