What is a hambalek
The term hambalek is used in the construction industry and refers to a horizontal beams whose task is to connect two opposite rafters. It is used at heights of over two meters to allow it to pass underneath it. For larger types of trusses, more hambalks are used at the same time. The connection between hambalk and rafters usually provides for cladding or tapping . Until the second half of the nineteenth century hamburgs were the most widespread type of interconnection of trusses in our country. Gradually, however, purlin trusses preferred.
