A landscape unit is an element of the Earth's surface, in which the individual parts of the landscape, together with landscape factors, affect each other in complex relationships. These include, for example, soil cover, watercourses or plants. Each landscape unit has at least a slightly different structure that distinguishes it from other similar entities.
