All atrium houses have one common element, a closed yard. The most common ones are single-storey residential buildings. It is a very popular type of living because it offers above-standard privacy. Atrium's houses are not usually equipped with windows facing other lands or streets, but only on the backyard. This enclosed housing is qualitatively more than comparable to a standard family home. Part of the atrium's houses is often a recessed pool, which is not always a norm in family villas.
