What is the decision about the building block
The building closure decision is the result of a land-use procedure and defines an area in which construction activity is temporarily or permanently prohibited. These are in particular cases where the future use of the territory or its organization could be made difficult or impossible by the planned land-use planning documentation. The Building Block Decision is also issued as a measure of a general nature under the Administrative Procedure Code. The building block measures are issued by the council of the municipality in delegated competence. Where the closure concerns more than one municipality, it is issued by a council with a delegated mandate. The Council may also allow an exception to the construction closure.
